Tyler Miller was born and raised in Berlin, Ohio. He began a lifelong love of radio broadcasting at an early age working at WKLM Radio in Millersburg, Ohio. He later became the sports director at Ashland University's WRDL.
After graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Communication, majoring in Electronic Media Production and Sport Communication, Tyler went on to work for Sirius Satellite Radio in New York City. After Sirius' merger with XM in 2008, Tyler moved to Washington DC to work for the now combined SiriusXM Satellite Radio as a Producer on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
In Washington DC, Tyler met his wife, Melissa who's career in the Army moved them to Fort Wainwright in January 2014. After working for a few months at the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, Tyler was once again reunited with radio at KUAC in October 2014. He hosts Weekend Edition on Saturdays and Sundays as well as Car Talk and other weekend programming. He is also on-call for FM operations during the week.
Tyler and Melissa live in North Pole, they share their home with a miniature dachshund "Bandit" and "Hawkeye", a Harley Davidson named after the fictitious television surgeon Benjamin Franklin Pierce.
