Alaska Prepping To Decorate D.C. For The Holidays

Chugach National Forest

Back in January, the U.S. Forest Service selected Alaska to provide the large Christmas tree that stands on the lawn of the U.S. Capital. Eight months later, the project, which also includes Alaskans providing decorations for the tree, and numerous smaller ones that will go in capital offices, is coming together. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, a Fairbanks area group is one of several around the state tapped to help decorate the trees.
