The Fairbanks Catholic Diocese recently reached a million dollar settlement with a Western Alaska woman who accused Father James Poole of abusing her during her childhood. It's one of dozens of priest abuse cases. Church leaders are crafting policies to deal with problem, but sometimes the hardest step is talking about it. That's why a local priest is inviting to his church a survivor of abuse. As KUAC's Libby Casey reports, tonight may be the first time nationwide that a victim goes before a parish to share his experience.
