New Snow Slows CB 300 Mushers

A winner in the Copper Basin 300 sled dog race are expected across the finish line in Glennallen later today. GPS tracking shows Ryne Olson, Michelle Phillips, Allen Moore, Paige Drobny and Nicholas Petit  grouped near the front. As KUAC’s Molly Rettig reports, after bracing themselves for extreme cold at Saturday’s start, mushers have encountered warmer temperatures and fresh snow on the trail.
