Volunteer of the Year!KUAC Community Advisory Committee member Tim Carrier was recognized as our Volunteer of the Year at the annual KUAC Volunteer Appreciation Event Tuesday, April 17th, 2012. (See photos and a video on KUAC's Facebook timeline).
Tim earned the crystal Spirit of KUAC award, for "Commitment to Excellence" in service to KUAC, thanks to his willingness to answer the call of duty for virtually every event KUAC holds -- often bringing along a whole platoon of volunteers from the 168th Alaska Air Guard Refueling Wing.
