Government and church run boarding schools took the lives of many Indigenous young people while those who survived followed challenging paths to overcome an experience described as cultural genocide. On Indigenous Peoples Day the First Alaskans Institute hosted a virtual discussion on healing. KUAC’s Mary Auld reports.
