Fairbanks, AK – Slavic-speaking immigrants who have settled in the Delta Junction area over the last couple of decades recently held what may be the community's last observance of World Refugee Day. Members of Delta's Slavic community say they may not be able to hold the event next year, because the local refugee settlement office is closing. As KUAC's Tim Ellis reports, the influx of immigrants from Russia and other Eastern European nations is slowing.
