Fairbanks, AK – It can be hard to get rid of an old car. If nobody wants to buy it, you likely have to pay someone to haul it away. In some places that isn't even be an option. Everybody says they are going to get around to fixing up that old heap, but realistically, given the chance, most of us would just as soon have it towed away. That may be an option in the Copper Valley. The Natural Resources Conservation Service is looking to collect roughly 500 junk vehicles. Conservation and Development Coordinator, Arlene Rosenkrans is organizing an abandoned car project and KUAC's Dan Bross from Kenny Lake to talk about it.
