Homeless Shelters Provide Meals, Warm Sanctuary, Especially During Cold Snap

This week’s cold temperatures are an inconvenience for most, but can be life threatening for the homeless. About six to eight people freeze to death every year in Fairbanks. As KUAC’s Robyne reports local shelters offer year round services, protection even more important when temperatures plummet.
