UAF Summer Sessions got creative and filmed bands at the Georgeson Botanical Garden without an audience for airing on UATV KUAC 9.4  What a great opportunity to combine forces and do some interviews with the bands for KUAC FM's Alaska "Almost" Live. Headbolt Heaters have a new recording out early summer. Learn more about it and hear a local favorite playing all originals.

Lori’s love for public broadcasting runs deep. She was raised on Car Talk, Morning Edition, Adventures in Good Music with Karl Haas, and later while studying wildlife biology at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, she realized that if she helped answer phones during the fund drive at KMUW, she could meet and chat with the hosts of locally produced shows.
