Fairbanks, AK – The lowlands off South Cushman Street are Fairbanks's unofficial dumping grounds. But the area is also an oasis every spring for thousands of migrating birds. That brings out birders dedicated to seeing waterfowl and shorebirds, despite the trash. KUAC's Libby Casey reports on one man's unusual sanctuary.
