Flood waters in Manley Hot Springs

Residents of Manley Hot Springs are beginning the process of recovering after suffering the worst flooding in over 50 years, due to an ice jam on the Tanana River this past weekend. About 50 of the 80 or so people living in the community at the time of the flood were displaced by damage to their homes, but as KUAC’s Dan Bross reports locals are showing resilience in the face of disaster.
