State Legalizing ATV Use On Roads

Beginning January first, Alaska drivers will generally be able to legally operate all-terrain vehicles on lower speed public roads. The practice has long been common in rural communities, but as KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, some officials in larger cities have safety concerns about off road machines mixing with cars and trucks on roadways.
