Assembly Approves Initiative Statement Funding

The Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly has passed an ordinance appropriating funds to cover the cost of publishing pro and con statements on local ballot initiatives up for vote in the October 7^th municipal election.  As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, debate about the ordinance during Thursday’s assembly meeting hit on concerns about spending, and how to fairly represent opposing sides.
