Invasive-plant Plan Would Employ Herbicide

An Herbicide is proposed to eradicate an invasive weed that’s infested some Fairbanks area waters. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, the chemical application would target Elodea (ell-O-dee-a), a prolific aquatic weed known to choke out native plants and fish, and inhibit navigation.
