Legislator Seeks Investigation Of State Handling of Child Welfare Cases

State Representative Tammie Wilson has requested a grand jury investigation of the state Office of Children’s Services. The North Pole Republican sent letters to regional district attorney offices last week seeking the inquiry. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, it’s based on concern about O.C.S. removal of an increasing number of kids from their parents.
