Officials announce a 50-million-dollar federal grant for a Yukon River village high speed internet project.

A 50 million dollar federal grant will fund a collaboration between Interior Alaska Native Regional Corporation Doyon, and Alaska Communications, to connect communities along a portion of the Yukon River to high-speed internet. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, the funding is from 65 billion dollars included in the federal Bi-partisan infrastructure law, to improve internet access across the US.
