School Board To Hire Superintendent

The Fairbanks North Star Borough School Board has approved permanent hire of interim Superintendent Karen Gaborik (ga-BOOR-ik) . The action taken at a meeting Tuesday night, forgoes the normal search process, and comes despite lingering concern about the districts handling of sexual abuse case.
