Omega 3 fats help arctic ground squirrels stay warm during hibernation. That’s the finding of research at the University of Alaska Fairbanks published last month in the journal Scientific Reports. As KUAC’s Mary Auld (ALD) reports, the study provides insight into how diet can affect body regulation.
