Interior Alaska will be home to one of a dozen National Science Foundation funded atmospheric monitoring sites across the US. The 12-million-dollar project being led by Georgia Institute of Technology will establish the country’s first ever monitoring network for natural and human made aerosols, like emissions from fossil fuel burning.
