  • The Scooter Brown Band makes their debut on Alaska Live with host Lori Neufeld. Local fiddler, Rachel DeTemple is part of the Alaska touring band and does backing vocals while Bobby Payne holds down the rhythm section on cajon. Listen for original country tunes and the stories behind them here on Alaska Live.
  • Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra's guest artist, Tabatha Easley joined KUAC's Alaska Live host Lori Neufeld. The entire flute section from FSO came in for performance and conversation too!
  • Okorie "OKCello" Johnson brought his unique cello performance of live-sound-looping and storytelling to KUAC's Alaska Live. He plays for a sold out show so this is your opportunity to hear the conversation and performance.

  • Cherish the Ladies are celebrating 40 years as a band. On their third visit to Fairbanks with the Fairbanks Concert Association, they made their debut on Alaska Live. Get to know these talented women of Celtic Music and hear reels, jigs and ballads on this session of Alaska Live.
  • Alaska Music Summit organizers in Fairbanks gathered in the KUAC studios to talk about the good things that happen when MusicAlaska comes to town. Performances by Iris Clarice, Scott Hansen, Caitlin Frye, Emily Anderson, Carey Seward and Marian Call.
  • The Inaugural Boreal Bass Day workshop folks came in to share the joy of the acoustic bass. Bri Argo plays first and Jon Heintz performs 2 pieces along with plenty of conversation about how exciting the workshop will be.
  • Diane "Bunny" Fleeks debuts TellTale Theatre in Fairbanks with Kyle Walker's "A Visit from Santa Claus". The magic of Christmas come alive with selections of stage reading plus getting to know the characters and people involved are all part of this episode.
