Shakespearean Afternoon Concert

KUAC's host Lori Neufeld is joined in the studio by Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre's Andrew Cassel and Rebecca George. KUAC and FST are partnering for a series of events surrounding Season 2 of PBS' Shakespeare Uncoverd airing in February on KUAC TV. Music and discussion inspired by Shakespeare, the Gwichi'in inspired Midsummer Night' Dream and Shakespeare Uncovered are all covered.

Lori’s love for public broadcasting runs deep. She was raised on Car Talk, Morning Edition, Adventures in Good Music with Karl Haas, and later while studying wildlife biology at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, she realized that if she helped answer phones during the fund drive at KMUW, she could meet and chat with the hosts of locally produced shows.
