Fairbanks, Ak. – Interior Native Corporation Doyon and United States Fish and Wildlife Service Alaska officials have forged a draft agreement that would allow oil drilling on what are now Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge lands. As Dan Bross reports, the proposed land swap in the 8.6 million acre refuge, a hundred miles north of Fairbanks, could be a precedent setting deal.
