Fairbanks, AK – Vicki Harbison originally wanted to study marine biology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, but the birth of her third child changed her career path. She is now majoring in social work and is an intern at the Fairbanks Resource Agency. As she explains on this week's Open Mic, her son's illness has her questioning the state's priorities in a time of plenty.
Vicki Harbison is the mother of three children, a social work student at U-A-F and an intern at Fairbanks Resource Agency. The agency is hosting a Key Campaign kick-off dinner Tuesday at 6 pm. And the organization taking part in a rally on Wednesday where Vickie and her son Jesse will talk.
