Fairbanks, AK – Arlo Guthrie grew up with folk music in the house and like his father, Woody Guthrie, Arlo continues to pass along the folk tradition to his kids and grandkids. The Arlo Guthrie Family Legacy Tour kicks off in Alaska and makes it's way to Herring Auditorium tonight (6/12/06). KUAC's Lori Neufeld talks with Guthrie about growing up, the church from the song "Alice's Restaraunt" and what it means to be political.
