Fairbanks, AK – A new genetic study of polar bears out form the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences Monday shows the species is older than previously thought. The study also suggests that intermingling with brown bears could have been in partial response to previous changes in earth's climate. KUAC's Emily Schwing reports.
