Police Chief's Business Spurs Changes

The City of Fairbanks is putting new procedures in place following an investigation of former police chief Randall Aragon’s operation of a security consulting business while he was chief. Aragon resigned late last year amid allegations that he violated city conflict of interest rules, and as KUAC’s Robert Hannon reports, new procedures require putting requests for such operations in writing, and more eyes on them.
