Borough OKs Urban Ag

The Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly has passed an urban agriculture ordinance aimed at better accommodating people who want to grow crops and raise animals on residential property. The ordinance  approved at a meeting Thursday, allows livestock in urban neighborhoods, and permits residents to sell produce at local markets, changes which take effect immediately. KUAC’s Robyne reports.
