The University of Alaska Fairbanks will hold a commencement ceremony online next month (May). According to a UAF release, the live webcast will include speeches and the award of diplomas and other honors along with photos uploaded by graduates. It says actual diplomas and honor cords will be mailed out this summer.
The online commencement ceremony is scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, May 23rd. 2020 Graduates will be welcome to walk in next year’s commencement, which is expected to be in traditional in person format.
UAF is also planning a virtual graduation party.
