An industrial fire in Indiana sends massive clouds of black smoke into the sky
The fire occurred at a former factory site in Richmond, 70 miles east of Indianapolis, that lately had been used to store plastics and other materials for recycling or resale.
'Monkey' Blamed in U.S./Iran Boat Conflict
"I am coming to you. You will explode in a few minutes." Some are saying that threat, received by U.S. Navy ships in the Strait of Hormuz, may not have come from Iranian ships. David Brown, managing editor at Navy Times, reports that some blame the so-called "Filipino Monkey," a heckler or group of hecklers responsible for renegade radio chatter in the Persian Gulf for the last 25 years.

Powerball jackpot climbs to $875 million, the third-largest on record
The new jackpot for the next drawing is the third-largest in the history of the game, coming behind the world record $2.04 billion jackpot won last year and the $1.586 billion jackpot won in 2016.

Boy Scouts' insurer agrees to contribute $800 million to sexual abuse victims' fund
