Winnipeg-based band "The Treble" used a unique combination of vocalists and bandmates for this session. Three-part harmonies, keyboard, electric bass and a fiddler that they recruited from the Far North Fiddle Fest made for great energy in the studio. Stories of how the band formed, how and where their original songs were born and spine-tingling performance of these songs mark this Alaska Live.

Poetically-laden folk world-infused funk filled the KUAC Alaska Live studios when St. Animal hit the airwaves. St. Animal recently formed but the members are from many popular bands from the Fairbanks music scene both past and present. Many selections feature trumpet accented beats, fiddle chops, electric guitar complete with effects and bass and drums. All original songs written by the band feature St. Animal's musical prowess.

Eric Barker - keyboard and vocals, Chazz Gist - electric bass, Susie Hallinan - fiddle and viola, Alisa Williams - drums, and Margaret Ransdell-Green - vocals and percussion, give this dance band their unique sound.
