Yukon Quest dogs were examined by veterinarians yesterday (Sun), in anticipation of this Saturday’s start of the Fairbanks to Whitehorse sled dog race. As KUAC’s Zoe Rom reports, the check-ups are conducted to make sure the dogs are ready to run a thousand miles.
