The Fairbanks North Star Borough’s Emergency Management office is interested in hearing from businesses that suffered because of the severe winter storms.

Nancy Durham, the Borough’s Emergency Manager has a deadline for Friday, March 11 to collect information from local businesses. If a threshold of companies in the borough demonstrate they were damaged, the Small Business Administration may create a relief program for businesses in the area.

Called the Economic Injury Only Declaration, it is similar to a relief program the SBA implemented for the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses who suffered because of our snow and ice storms can fill out a form and email it to Nancy.durham@fnsb.gov.

The form is available here: https://files.constantcontact.com/e1c4a8f7001/93d4db6a-2260-4385-b443-213788bc6499.pdf
