Dr. Bryan Emmon Hall on Alaska LIve

Lori Neufeld

Back from a recent tour of Korea with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Bryan Emmon Hall performed on Alaska Live on Monday, October 27th. Dr. Hall recently joined the faculty at UAF as the violin and viola professor and was guest artist with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra for their season opener. Accompanied by pianist Lorna Eder, Hall played seven classical works for violin including the "very black" Devil's Trill Sonata by Giuseppe Tartini.

Dr. Bryan Emmon Hall will be performing Sunday, Novemeber 2nd at 7:00 during his recital program at the Davis Concert Hall at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Lori’s love for public broadcasting runs deep. She was raised on Car Talk, Morning Edition, Adventures in Good Music with Karl Haas, and later while studying wildlife biology at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas, she realized that if she helped answer phones during the fund drive at KMUW, she could meet and chat with the hosts of locally produced shows.
