A weekend event in the Fairbanks area celebrated the life of mushing great Lance Mackey, the 4-time Iditarod and Yukon Quest Champion who died of cancer last month. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, Mackey was remembered for his natural competitiveness and ability to connect with people.
