Ambler Road Out for Comment

A draft environmental impact statement for the state proposed Ambler Road is out for public comment. The Bureau of Land Management document is a step toward permitting the over 2 hundred mile industrial access road from the Dalton Highway to the Ambler Mining District. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, the road promises new development and raises environmental concerns.
