Gas Trucking Legislation Signed

Governor Sean Parnell has signed a bill into law authorizing over 300 million dollars in financing for a North Slope to Fairbanks natural gas trucking project. SB 23 provides a mix of grants, bonding, loans and credits to finance construction of a gas processing plant on the North Slope and other infrastructure, including storage tanks and distribution piping in the Fairbanks area.
