Dan Bross

KUAC

Scientists from Idaho State University are at the University of Alaska Museum of the North in Fairbanks taking high-resolution images of

animal bones.  It’s part of a National Science Foundation funded project to create an on-line catalog of bones of every arctic bird, fish, and mammal.  KUAC’s Dan Bross visited a museum laboratory to see how they’re doing it.

Dan has been in public radio news in Alaska since 1993. He’s worked as a reporter, newscaster and talk show host at stations in McGrath, Valdez and Fairbanks. Dan’s experience includes coverage of a wide range of topics, from wolf control to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and dog mushing.
