In 2016, she was part of the NPR team that reported on the Wells Fargo banking scandal. That reporting won a George Foster Peabody Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award and a Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Before falling in love with making audio, she studied Art History and German, with a focus on life in the former East Germany.   • Nathan Baring grew up in Fairbanks listening to KUAC FM. “It’s been in our family my entire life,” he said. While in high school he volunteered during the KUAC fundraisers, then transitioned to hosting “World Café.” Now he is an on-call announcer. A biology and political science major at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, Nathan said his job at KUAC FM makes him feel like he is giving back to his hometown. “I feel closer to the community when I’m reading the weather forecast or wildfire announcements or PSAs,” he said. “It’s helping bring people together.”
  • Victoria Whitley-Berry is a director and producer for Morning Edition. They also briefly helped to produce NPR's history podcast Throughline. They joined NPR in 2016 as an intern for All Things Considered on the weekend. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Fla., Whitley-Berry has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Texas Christian University.
  • Ellen Eldridge is a digital producer for GPB. She has previously worked as a breaking news reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The topics she most often writes about as a freelance reporter are mental health issues, crime and public safety. Ellen graduated Kennesaw State University magna cum laude in 2015 with a degree in communication focused on journalism.
