While President Donald Trump was addressing Congress Tuesday night, hundreds of Fairbanksans responded to calls by national organizations to protest his policies.

A couple dozen Fairbanksans sang songs and rallied on a main street corner Monday in an impromptu marking of the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

A dozen quilters are donating their work of Ukrainian sunflowers to raise money for emergency food in Ukraine. The exhibit is the First Friday event at Well Street Gallery on January 6th.
