West Valley High Players, Parents Question Suspension of Assistant Football Coaches

The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District has decided to continue the suspension of West Valley High School assistant football coaches who were at a pre season training session during which 3 players nearly drown. Head coach Roy Hessner subsequently resigned, and 8 assistant coaches were suspended. As KUAC’s Dan Bross reports, many players and parents feel the assistant coaches have been treated unfairly.
